Amazing Customer Service!
I bought this skirt in a L during the Labor Day sale. When I got it in, it was way too big and I needed to return for a M. I had to buy the skirt again in a M and pay to send the L back, BUT they honored the sale price! The M came in and fits great. Thank you, Backyard Roses team!

This skirt is super cute love the style but it rides up way too much. I’m only 5’6 and about 165lbs and ordered an XL. It fit me great from the waist but WAY too short and when I walk it rides up a lot, just with a little bend you can see EVERYTHING. Couldn’t return it because it’s a bit too late now. I was super excited about this purchase but was disappointed.

I'm 5'4" and around 120 lbs, waist 28" and hips 36", and the XS fits like a glove. I'm usually a small in most things, but after reading reviews, I noticed a lot of people saying to size down for this brand, and I'm glad I did! It hits right around fingertip length for me, and the slit isn't too high either. If you're curvier, you might want to go with your regular size just because it is so fitted, or if you plan on tucking thicker sweaters into it for fall/winter and want some room around the waist. It shipped quickly and I'm so happy with my first purchase from Tess's brand. (:

I ordered a M and am usually a S/M for bottoms. The M is a bit loose but still fits. The skirt is quite short, depending on how you wear it (as it is a tad big on me I can wear it more high waist or lower). The only complain I would have is the material. It feels uncomfortable directly on the skin and definitely makes you sweaty super fast. But with thicker tights this problem can be solved. :)

I was very excited to receive this skirt, but it was very loose on me. I ordered a small, but should’ve went with the x-small. For reference I am 5’6” 120 lbs. I would have exchanged, but I wasn’t too thrilled to pay return shipping. It would be a helpful if you spend a certain amount to get the free shipping along with free returns especially after spending a lot! Definitely go for it if you know your skirt size because it is super cute! :)
